Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ,

For no one can lay any foundation other than the one that has been laid; that foundation is Jesus Christ.” I Cor 3:11.

The people at Conestoga have an amazing history of building on that foundation. The church was first organized as an Amish Mennonite group meeting in homes in 1760; in 1882 the first meeting house was constructed. During the past 60 years, God's spirit has been at work in this congregation calling people to serve as missionaries and ministers in many different places. Conestoga Christian School was started as well as Tel Hai Camp and Retirement Center. About 40 new churches have come from Conestoga either directly or indirectly over these years that now include thousands of people. Most recently, about half of the congregation chose to branch off and start Grace and Truth Fellowship in the Fall of 2007. As we look to the future, we want to continue to build on Jesus Christ as His Spirit forms us into living stones as part of His Kingdom. We welcome you to join us on this journey as together we serve the Risen Christ.
